Amy Thomas began training horses professionally when she was eight years old and teaching riding lessons when she was 16 years old, more than 36 years ago. She rode in Combined Training events throughout the northwest region and foxhunted on the east coast. Amy graduated from United States Pony Club as an HA, a national ranking, then continued instructing. She later returned to training young horses and became a 4-H leader. Amy currently teaches lessons for students on their own horses at their property, will meet them at a local haul-in arena, and has lesson horses available in certain circumstances.
